The Multisaw team

The dynamic Multisaw team, headed by visionary Managing Director, Neil Murray, consists of an energetic group of individuals, ranging from factory, sales and technical managers, to research and design teams and adminstrative staff.

Multisaw band saws

The first machine (the One Machine Band Saw Mill) was assembled in 1990. Twenty years has seen Multisaw grow from designing and building simple, single head rolling-table bandsaws, to developing today’s sophisticated turn-key saw mill projects.

Multisaw offers a product range of over 30 saw milling machines.

As well as our extensive saw-milling range, Multisaw is also the South African supplier of imported international German saw-shop products and holds a number of international patents including:

• Blade Runner sizing system for resaws (the world’s fastest size changing system) and
• LG Positioner (pneumatic cylinders for positioning heavy objects quickly, and inexpensively)

Saw Milling Technology

Multisaw has an insatiable desire for current machine technology:

• We rely on integrated machining: a move from outsourcing machining (turning and milling precision components) to in-house machining.
• Our modern technology, combined with CNC lazer cutting, greatly improves timber cutting accuracy, all the while creating robust machinery.
• 3D design and assembly software adds functionality to our machines, without losing simplicity.

The Future of Saw Milling Machines:

Currently, Multisaw is nationally recognised. Our machines are showcased in Germany, and are functioning in saw-mills in Swaziland Tanzania, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Romania and Australia.
