The multisaw TITAN 6 Twinband is the starting point of the breakdown process for high volume multisaw sawing lines. This automated twin vertical bandsaw is operated entirely by one man. Material input is facilitated by advanced log loading and log orientation systems. On the out-feed side of the machine a robust, automated material removal system first discharges side boards and then the cant. This high volume, high recovery machine feeds the entire mill with quality material.

Cutting Pattern
The multisaw TITAN 6 Twinband sits at the input side of the wet-milling process. It performs the primary breakdown of raw logs consistently and efficiently.
The quality of the primary breakdown affects the recovery of the entire milling process. It is important to create equal open faces on each side of the log as shown on the left.
Such a cut is achieved rapidly and consistently with the aid of the TITAN 6 Twinband’s superior automated loading and orientating system.
The two sideboards then go on to be processed by the TITAN Resaw, while the central cant is forwarded to the Multirip.
